From January 14 to 17, the 33rd edition of the Winter Marathon
The traditional vintage sports car race will take place in January, 14-17.
A route of 400 km through 9 passes of the Dolomites and more than 60 time trial races in 2 stages: the first by night along the Val Rendena and the second along the roads and the most famous passes in Trentino-Alto Adige with the suggestive sunset on the Dolomites.
All cars built up to 1968 with a front and rear transmission can participate in the event, with the addition of a selection of models of particular historical and collector interest - protagonists of rallies of the '70s - produced before 1976.
PROGRAM
Thursday 14 January
11.00 am-5.30 pm: arrival of competitors at Brenta Square (Palù area) in Madonna di Campiglio. Administrative checks, collection of the participation kit with car stickers, road book and exclusive gifts.
7.30 pm: Leg 1. Start of the first car in Piazza Righi in Madonna di Campiglio.
9.00 pm: dinner at Restaurant "La Baracca" at Passo del Tonale.
11.00 pm: arrival of the first car in Piazza Righi in Madonna di Campiglio. Back to the hotel and overnight stay.
Friday 15 January
11.00 am: Leg 2. Start of the first car in Piazza Righi in Madonna di Campiglio.
1.00 pm: lunch in Molveno with "light lunch box" by DimmidiSì.
7.30 pm: dinner at Chalet Gerard (Passo Gardena)
12.00 am: arrival of the first car in Piazza Righi in Madonna di Campiglio. Back to the hotel and overnight stay.
Saturday 16 January
12.00 pm: lunch at the hotel.
12.30-1.00 pm: entry of admitted competing cars in holding area on the frozen lake in Madonna di Campiglio.
1.30 pm: Knockout challenge reserved to the only first 32 classified crews of the Winter Marathon
3.30 pm: prize-giving
8.00 pm: back to the hotel and overnight stay.
Sunday 17 January
9.00 am: breakfast in hotel and goodbye to the 2022 edition.
