The Pinzolo Municipal Library presents an event with author Roberta Pelachin Giorello, who will introduce her book Caiman, il profeta delle macchine.
Set in a plausible and unsettling future, the novel portrays a world in which technology has become an integral part of everyday life and the boundary between the natural and the artificial has gradually disappeared. At the heart of the story is Caiman, a superintelligent artificial intelligence that invites readers to reflect on freedom, technological progress and the relationship between humans and machines.
The author will be in conversation with Carla Maturi, offering the audience an opportunity to explore the themes of the book and discuss the major questions that technology raises for contemporary society. At the end of the event, the Pro Loco di Pinzolo will offer a toast to all participants.
