ApiLab organizes a free experience for families and children to discover the world of bees, biodiversity and the work of beekeepers through practical activities, observations and interactive moments immersed in nature.
The activity takes place within the Mountain Beat Festival at Parco Ciclamino and is designed as an authentic, educational and engaging first approach to the world of bees.
PROGRAM:
10:00 AM: Meeting point at Parco Ciclamino and start of the activity.
During the workshop participants will have the opportunity to:
- observe a real educational beehive in complete safety
- discover how the colony works and learn about the role of the queen bee
- attend practical demonstrations about the beekeeper’s work
- try beekeeping equipment, including protective suits
- watch video content related to the honey extraction process
The experience is offered free of charge by the ApiLab association, in line with its mission of environmental education, awareness and enhancement of the local beekeeping and botanical heritage.
