The most exciting night of your life! Have you ever wondered what it feels like to spend the night ‘on the wall’, hundreds of metres above the ground? And feel the sensations experienced by professional mountaineers? This experience for beginners allows anyone to enjoy a night of ‘vertical camping’ on a portaledge. You don't have to be a climber to enjoy breathtaking views!
Programme:
Day 1
4 p.m: meet at the Grostè cable car ticket office. Prepare equipment, take the cable car and walk to the overnight location. The mountain guide will introduce you to descending and ascending on fixed ropes with technical equipment. This will be followed by a ‘rustic’ dinner of typical local products at the top of the wall.
Day 2
The first rays of sunlight on the wall will gently wake you up, allowing you to admire the breathtaking panorama once again. After stowing your equipment and portaledge, you ascend and a short trek back to the cable car. Return to the valley and final goodbyes.
