The Path of the Glass Cenacle
The experience begins at the Ancient Glass Factory and the Glass Museum of Carisolo, places that preserve the memory of a historic tradition that has characterized the area for centuries. Through the guided tour, participants will learn about the history of glass processing, its techniques, its artistic transformations, and the role that this material has played in local life.
From the museum, participants will then set off for a pleasant walk to the Church of Santo Stefano, immersed in nature and accompanied by an expert from the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, who will enrich the journey with interesting facts and insights dedicated to the environment, biodiversity, and the landscape of the area.
The heart of the experience will be the visit to the evocative Church of Santo Stefano, famous for the frescoes by the Baschenis, where the Glass Cenacle will be exceptionally displayed. The contemporary work, explained by the guide Serena Bugna, reinterprets the Last Supper through glass and light, creating an intense dialogue between spirituality, art, and territory. Inside, the river crayfish also appears, a symbol of pure waters and the natural balance that characterizes this environment.
The experience will conclude with a short walk through the Chestnut Grove of Carisolo, to fully experience the tranquility and beauty of the natural landscape.
