An experimental project for coexistence between humans and wildlife
An initiative by the Adamello Brenta Nature Park to protect grazing livestock.
The project aims to safeguard livestock grazing in alpine areas through the use of acoustic and light deterrents, designed to prevent damage caused by large carnivores such as bears and wolves.
Developed in collaboration with the Wildlife Service and the Forestry Service of the Autonomous Province of Trento, and with the National Association of Rendena Breed Farmers (ANARE), the project promotes a sustainable mountain model where traditional farming and wildlife can coexist.
