Discovering the Ecosystems of the Dolomites of Brenta
The BioMiti project, promoted by the Adamello Brenta Natural Park in collaboration with the University of Sassari and the MUSE, studies the ecosystem of the Dolomites of Brenta to understand the impacts of climate change. The research focuses on the altitudinal zone between 1900 and 2900 meters above sea level, analyzing fauna, flora, climate, and geology.
Preliminary results were shared during the BioMiti Workshop 2019. The collected data will help improve our understanding of global warming and enhance the protection of natural environments. In addition, BioMiti fosters direct involvement of people visiting the Park, creating a link between science and the community.
