Every small action counts
Every piece of waste that falls into a storm drain has a direct path to rivers and lakes, such as the Sarca and Garda.
To remind us how our daily actions affect the health of water, the “The Lake Starts Here” campaign places colorful, friendly fish near storm drains throughout the area: a reminder to reflect and protect the environment.
The aim of the project is to raise awareness among citizens and visitors of all ages about the impact of waste in water, promoting more responsible everyday behaviour: from the management of cigarette butts to the use of detergents, from plastic residues to washing water.
A practical educational project that transforms the area into a sustainability laboratory and reminds us that the future of our lakes and our environment begins with every small gesture.
