Breathtaking views of the Dolomiti di Brenta to the north, then the gaze flows down to Tremalzo and Monte Baldo, behind Lake Garda.
The two sides of Valle del Chiese have completely different characteristics: to the east, towards Lake Ledro, you never climb very high, the magical and quite demanding trails are mostly in the forest, and only here and there you glimpse the Adamello massif. The western side is a whole different story: here, at the foothills of the Adamello facing south, you can climb much higher and, beyond the tree line, enjoy breathtaking views of the Dolomiti di Brenta to the north, then let your gaze flow down and down to Tremalzo and Monte Baldo, behind Lake Garda. If all this was already seen during the Giro dell'Orizzonte, the route that leads to Malga Avalina offers this and much more.
Note: this route can also be done in the opposite direction.
