Simple hike, suitable for families, that allows you to admire the Boniprati plateau and the surrounding mountains from different angles, crossing beech woods, meadows, and pastures.
A hiking route suitable for families who enjoy fairly short but slightly challenging and at the same time exhilarating outings, in contact with nature and the medium mountain landscape. Surrounded by wide meadows, rich in flowers in late spring and early summer, often populated by various groups of cows grazing, it crosses beech woods, wonderful places especially when the leaves turn the warm colors of autumn. Some short and steep sections of old mule tracks lead to the pastures of Malga Baite, the highest point of the entire circuit. Attention to the sign, placed in the pastures of Malga Baite, which invites deviating slightly from the main route to visit the remains of Forte Belvedere, an underground fortification overlooking Val di Daone, built by the Italian army during the First World War.
Beautiful view from the pastures of Malga Baite. Be careful and do not touch the electric wires placed to delimit the grazing areas.
