Easy and family-friendly route along the path that, following the Sarca river, leads to the discovery of the hidden waterfalls of Val Genova.
Itinerary, in the Adamello Brenta Geopark, to discover the most scenic waterfalls of Val Genova, along a path that follows the river through conifer woods and small bridges. Once you reach the Cascate Nardis, visible from the road, park in front of the homonymous refuge. The path starts to the right of the refuge, at the end of the bridge, near the Sarca river. The relatively gentle ups and downs make it suitable for everyone. The walk can be significantly shortened starting from Ponte Rosso, just after the Fontana Bona refuge. In this case, after parking in the large parking lot near the bridge, cross the bridge and take path 214 which, in 15-20 minutes, leads to the roaring waterfalls. The meadows of Malga Genova are an optimal area for a stop and picnic. The Lares waterfalls are a fascinating spectacle for their impressive roar and foaming waters.
The pastures of Malga Genova are ideal for games and outdoor picnics.
Remember that, out of season, some refuges are closed and mobility is not active.
