The route begins in the locality of Alpo di Storo. After passing the homonymous hut, walk along a First World War mule track to reach Cima Tombea.
You ascend along Provincial Road no. 69 towards Bondone. After passing the village, continue as far as the snow allows. Leave the car along the road and from here in about 45 minutes you reach the locality of Alpo (1500 m). Continue by following the signs for trail no. 444 towards Cima Caplone-Tremalzo. After about 700 meters, the road turns right; continue along the trail ignoring a road with a barrier descending to the left. After passing a ridge, the road that becomes a military road is crossed again; after some hairpin bends, in about 40 minutes, you reach Cablone Pass (1755 m). Leaving the pass, continue left along the road rising from Valvestino, which leads, after about 45 minutes of flat terrain, to Malga Tombea. Behind the hut, climb following the military road until you reach the Wind Rose placed right on the summit of Cima Tombea (1950 m). For the return, follow the same route as the ascent.
It is impossible not to stop at the Wind Rose to admire the splendid 360° panoramic view of all the Ledro Alps.
