Doss del Sabion – Lake Valagola - Prarodont

The round trip has a small elevation gain uphill but already a challenging descent. It starts from one of the iconic points of Val Rendena: Doss del Sabion. This peak has a central position and an exceptional panorama thanks to its central location between the Adamello – Presanella Group and the Brenta Dolomites Group. From the summit, descend on trail to the small water mirror of Lake Valagola and from here, with a not too long ascent, reach the lifts connecting Pinzolo with Madonna di Campiglio: Monte Grual locality. Now comes the most boring part which on the road leads to malga Cioca and then along the track to the upper station of the Prarodont cable car where you return to the lower parking lot near Pinzolo.
