A route that leads from the village of Giustino up to high altitudes and the wide panoramas of Rifugio XII Apostoli. Its length and elevation gain make it particularly demanding.
This itinerary, following SAT trail 307, leads to Rifugio XII Apostoli along a route steeped in the history of the valley: the lower section retraces ancient paths once used by locals to reach alpine pastures, while only the final stretch, between Passo Bandalors and the refuge, is more frequented. The refuge, incorporating the original 1908 structure, stands on a dramatic rocky spur overlooking Val di Nardìs, at the entrance to a large glacial basin once filled with glaciers, now almost completely vanished. All around, a magnificent panorama unfolds: the peaks and walls of the Brenta rise imposingly, while to the west the view stretches toward the vast Presanella and Adamello massifs.
