To reach Lago Nambino from the valley floor, there are various options:
- access from Piana di Nambino via SAT 217 trail which gradually climbs towards the lake in 40 minutes;
- access from Patascoss (the trail marker is located roadside, opposite the car park) via a flat path (Bolognini trail) reaching the lake in 50 minutes; the path is now barrier-free.
- from Fortini locality (start of the path behind the Residence Hotel Ambiez) via SAT B07 trail with a gentle ascent taking almost 2 hours.
Ideal place for families with children and anglers. On the shores of the homonymous lake, the Nambino refuge offers lunches, dinners, and stays in a welcoming and suggestive environment. Fishing permits are issued at the refuge.
