Little San Vigilio Church and "the Horses path"

Little San Vigilio Church and "the Horses path"

Easy itinerary for families around the "Busa di Tione".

An easy route suitable for everyone, which can be completed in a couple of hours, near Tione di Trento. The route begins on a flat section along the industrial area, and, following a clockwise direction, it passes through a cool forest next to the small Church of San Vigilio. Here, it crosses the charming 'Pont che Bala', a rope bridge suspended over the Sarca River. Then it leaves the forest and continues along the 'Sentiero dei Cavai', a wide dirt road that leads to Priore’s outskirts. From there, it continues on the footpath until it reaches the cycle path along the Sarca River, past clear waters, lush vegetation and many birds to observe. The cycle path is flat and well equipped with benches, where you can take a nice break and enjoy the mountains surrounding you.

This route is ideal in spring, when nature awakens, the deciduous trees are dressed in bright green and flowers along the cycle path make every shot even more impressive.
