To reach the Rifugio you cross the Val San Valentino, named after the small church dedicated to San Valentino and frescoed by Simone Baschenis. The building, encountered driving up the valley, stands in a panoramic spot with a broad view of Busa di Tione, the lower Rendena, the Brenta Group, the peaks of Carè Alto to the west and is worth a stop.
The itinerary crosses a landscape of rare beauty at the edge of the vegetation, it is little beaten and recommended for lovers of unspoiled nature.
