The ascent to Giuggia is one of the classic routes of the Valle del Chiese and, despite the modest elevation, it is very rewarding from a skiing point of view.
The route takes place mostly on wide and panoramic meadows that make the descent pleasant where stones are rarely found. The itinerary, often already tracked, is an excellent choice when looking for a quiet outing both for avalanches and for the route. Only the part above Malga Giugia (1662m) is potentially avalanche-prone; however, it is almost always safe. Therefore, it is an ideal route for those who want to train or simply refine the basics of the discipline. The descent on fresh snow (or in condition) is particularly beautiful.
Route suitable for those who want to do some training. It is recommended to do the excursion to Bocca di Benolina only with settled snow.
