Medium-difficulty route that takes half a day to complete, and links the residential area of Manez to the summit cross along the south-west ridge of Monte Iron. The route is initially flat on a dirt road, then gradually rises in the last stretch to the summit. Generally accessible from spring to autumn, unless there is late snow.
A fairly easy tour that climbs from the wild Manez valley and runs along the south-west ridge of Mount Iron to reach its summit cross. The panorama from this elevation is very wide and its position as a ‘corner pillar’ between the Val d'Algone and the Busa di Tione di Trento make it an excellent vantage point over Bleggio, Lomaso, the Southern Brenta Group, Alta Val del Chiese, Busa di Tione and the Adamello - Presanella Group. A tour also suitable for families, given the not excessive altitude difference; assess the development well.
Bring a camera along, as the broad and charming panorama offers a privileged view of the Val d'Algone, the 'Busa' of Tione di Trento, Bleggio, Lomaso, the southern Brenta Mountain Range, the upper Valle del Chiese and the Adamello-Presanella Mountain Range.
