Rio Ribor flows through an idyllic and isolated valley. Don’t be misled by the name of this route: a high level of experience is not required, despite an elevation gain of 1527 meters.
Rio Ribor is the name of a small stream that originates from Laghetto delle Scaie above Malga Clef and flows through an idyllic and isolated valley with many small waterfalls, then enters Val Daone and eventually flows into the Chiese river. However, don’t be fooled by the name of this route: to explore the pristine Ribor valley, a high experience level is not required, since the route proceeds entirely on paved or at most dirt roads.
It is recommended to be in good shape, and those with an eMTB will certainly have less effort, but a battery with a capacity of 625Wh is recommended to reach an elevation gain of 1527 meters.
