Medium difficulty route of about two hours leading from the locality Ponte Pianone to the characteristic Rifugio Trivena, located in a natural amphitheater of incomparable beauty. The route, mainly uphill, which on the return becomes downhill; it runs entirely on a mule track marked by trail marker 223. Generally passable from spring to autumn except for snow presence due to late snowfalls. Also suitable for families with not too young children.
The route starts from the locality Ponte Pianone and, following a mule track that runs alongside the Arnò stream, enters a broadleaf forest while gradually gaining altitude. After the first uphill stretch, you reach Malga Acquaforte where there is a drinking fountain; here the vegetation gradually opens and the path climbs with some hairpin bends. Shortly after, on the right side of the ascent, it is possible to spot the path leading to the Laghisol. Following the initial path, at the end of this stretch you reach a fence with a gate beyond which the large meadows below Rifugio Trivena open up, where in summer you can meet cows, goats, or horses.
The route, completely immersed in nature, allows you to appreciate the blooming of splendid flowers in spring, while in summer the power of the water enriches the waterfalls even in the side valleys and intensifies the green of the conifers. Beautiful photos can also be taken once you reach the refuge, which is located in a rocky amphitheater dominated by some of the highest peaks of the Adamello Group.
