A fairly long excursion, but with a contained elevation gain, among ancient forests, pastures, and old farmhouses.
A long but gentle walk through local history and traditions, when in summer the mountains echoed with the ringing notes of the bells of countless cows sent to pasture. A past still alive today, to be discovered by crossing the numerous mountain huts distributed along the mountain slopes and the old dirt road crossing them starting from Malga Table up to Malga Lavanech. In summer, some huts offer dairy products (butter, cheese, ricotta) that can be purchased directly on site.
The route is easy to follow, with a recommended small detour to the Italian military cemetery at Malga Cléf, dating back to World War I.
