This walk to the Nambrone restaurant takes place on the forest road leading to the spring ‘Acqua Surgiva’ and along the thematic route ‘AmolAcqua’. The latter route winds through a labyrinth of streams that intersect in the lower part of Val Nambrone, the area at the confluence of two branches of the Sarca river: Sarca d'Amola and Sarca di Nambrone. The highlight of the walk is crossing the beautiful Amola waterfall, which has its main drop in the forest near the Nambrone restaurant. This pleasant walk includes a rather steep section in its first part, but continues on flat terrain in the second. Therefore, this walk is suitable for children from 10 years old provided they are used to walking. The short circular route ‘AmolAcqua’ starts directly from the Nambrone restaurant and is accessible to strollers and wheelchairs.
The route culminates with the crossing of the beautiful Amola Waterfall, whose main drop falls onto the forest near the Nambrone bar restaurant. This nice route features a fairly steep climb in the initial part and levels off in the upper part. For this reason, it is also suitable for children from 10 years old upwards, provided they are trained. The short “AmolAcqua” loop, starting directly from the Nambrone bar restaurant, is largely walkable also with strollers and wheelchairs for disabled people.
The Nambrone restaurant (1355 m) is located at the bottom of Val Nambrone on the left edge of the plain with the same name. You can reach it by car from Pinzolo by following the SS239 towards Madonna di Campiglio (keep left just below S. Antonio di Mavignola and follow the signs for Nambrone, Cornisello, Segantini).
It is possible to arrange for someone to drop you off at the starting point at Ponte di Pimont (it is on the road) and pick you up at the Nambrone restaurant. The driver can, for example, take the easy ‘AmolAcqua’ walk or enjoy some rest on the deckchairs while waiting.
