A panoramic trekking route that leads from Storo to the frescoed Church of San Lorenzo and the archaeological ruins of the Bastia. It develops on both paved roads and trails.
A loop route to discover the landscape, and local history and culture, amidst ancient frescoes, medieval ruins and wooden sculptures that tell of fairy tales and legends lost in time.It starts at the Renaissance Church of San Floriano, continuing along an old cobbled road with the remains of a mill and a well-preserved capital, to the road leading to the Church of San Lorenzo.Here, you can admire 15th century frescoes attributed to the Baschenis family.The route continues along a trail decorated with hand-carved wooden statues, which leads to the Bastia.Behind the stronghold, the trail descends along the steep Rio Proes gorge, and this stretch requires particular attention.
The route is easy to follow, but be very careful on the way back, along the steep Proes gorge stretch.
