A suggestive place: walking it means getting to know the history of the people who have lived here for centuries and discovering the genius and hard work of ancient crafts and extinct trades.
A comfortable walk that begins by crossing the footbridge over the Chiese River where you can observe artifacts related to old trades, such as the ancient smithy for ironwork or the old mill. A fairy-tale and enchanting world, continuing with the Witch's Garden, where science, history, and magic merge: it seems that Brigida, one of the best-known witches of the Valle del Chiese, who actually lived around 1470 and was burned alive by the Inquisition, was also one of the most expert in medicinal plants.
At Rio Caino there is a small yet suggestive river park, where you can appreciate the beauty of the landscape and enjoy some moments of relaxation before or after the hike on the Path, in various rest areas equipped with benches, tables, and games for the little ones. One interesting aspect is that the entire route is an ideal habitat for the development of floral and faunal species that also make the perfect setting for relaxing walks with the whole family.
