The Via delle Normali

La via delle Normali title=

Mixed climbing and trekking route, connecting 10 peaks of the Brenta Dolomites in 6 stages, with the concatenation of the existing and refurbished normal routes.

The route takes place in the Brenta Dolomites group from south to north, touching Cima d'Ambièz, Cima Tosa, Crozzon di Brenta, Campanile Alto, Torre di Brenta, Cima Brenta, Cima Falkner, Cima Grostè, Cima Pietra Grande, and Cima Vagliana.

The normal ascent routes to these peaks, opened more than a century ago, have been refurbished and secured by the Trentino Alpine Guides Association, and their connection via paths has given rise to The Via delle Normali, offering an unforgettable experience to those wishing to approach mountaineering in the stone heart of the Dolomites.

The project aimed to refurbish existing belays, rappelling and securing points, and protection pitons, replacing them with stainless resin pitons. New belays were added to reduce pitch lengths and new resin anchors were added in the most exposed sections.

90 years after the Via delle Bocchette, another Via was opened, destined for equal fame.

It is recommended to plan the route scrupulously, taking into account the weather conditions and the estimated times for each itinerary.
