Trail No. 19: Valgola–Plaza Snowshoe Trail

A picturesque hike that starts in the village of Plaza, winds through white fir forests, and follows trails and forest roads until it reaches Lake Valagola, one of the few lakes in the Brenta Dolomites. When there is no snow, we recommend using crampons; when there is heavy snowfall, the route is accessible on touring skis and is also suitable for beginners.
A pleasant hike set in a picturesque natural setting, alternating between sections along a forest road and trails through silver fir forests. The route leads to the picturesque Lake Valagola, one of the few natural lakes in the Brenta Dolomites, nestled among forests and imposing rock faces.
