This is a beautiful valley where nature will surprise and enchant you with its vast and imposing open spaces, abundant water and huge forests of centuries-old beech trees.
From the bottom of Val di Daone, a beautiful path climbs up the side of the rocky strips that separate the bottom of the valley from the small plateaus above, dotted with typical mountain huts and various alpine pastures. The ascent is mainly through the woods and a beautiful viewpoint allows the eye to wander along the central part of the valley. As the climb continues, the landscape changes, with wide expanses of woodland giving way to steep, rocky slopes as far as Passo del Frate.
