Easy walk in one of the best-known valleys of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park in front of Crozzon di Brenta.
Val Brenta develops over two wide plateaus, Brenta Bassa and Brenta Alta, which give their names to the mountain huts along the trail. Here nature creates a majestic landscape, among rocky walls, scree slopes and spires shaped by time, framed by small glaciers that surround the imposing Crozzon di Brenta.
The water accompanies the walk with streams and small waterfalls, while the valley opens into one of the most spectacular natural amphitheaters of the Dolomiti di Brenta. Despite the abandonment of the mountain huts, the pastoral soul of the place survives in the silence of the pastures.
It was from the alpine pasture of Malga Brenta Alta that the English mountaineer D.W. Freshfield described the Crozzon with words full of wonder: “Right at the center of so much beauty, a colossal rock towered before us, one of the most marvelous monuments of the forces of nature.”
