This is a medium-difficulty itinerary that starts from Malga Vallina d'Amola in Val Nambrone and goes through Val d'Amola to Passo dei Quattro Cantoni via Rifugio Val Amola-Segantini.
The vast basin of Malga Vallina d'Amola is home to green pastures and grazing cattle, with a panoramic view of the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Horses, donkeys, goats and cows of the Rendena breed romp among the meadows and rivers in a bucolic setting.
Just before the alpine hut, the path begins and leads in just over an hour to Rifugio Val Amola-Segantini, an excellent refreshment point situated on a beautiful panoramic terrace. The mountain hut is open during the mountaineering season and it is possible to stay overnight.
From the mountain hut, the path climbs along a ridge and over scree to Passo dei Quattro Cantoni.
