The hike starts out as a gentle walk through green meadows and ancient woods. It then becomes more challenging with a steep section that climbs through a rocky landscape.
An excursion to the discovery of a beautiful but little visited valley, which connects the Val di Daone with the Passo del Termine. There is so much to see!
We start with the hydroelectric power plant and the adjacent artificial lake of Malga Boazzo, which is fed by the abundant water flowing down from Val di Daone and its side valleys. Then comes the spectacular Regina del Lago waterfall, fed by Rio Rondone, the stream that runs through Val del Leno.
This itinerary is so rich in diversity: it follows a fine paved mule track, crosses dense fir and larch woods and passes two alpine huts. Once you have passed the highest one, you go on through sparse highland pastures, scree and rocks until you reach Passo del Termine, the wide pass overlooking the large valley that descends towards the Gaver basin. To the east, the Blumone peak and to the west, Monte Listino stand out majestically over the landscape, while itinerary 1 of the Alta Via dell'Adamello passes not far from the pass.
