A high-altitude and remote valley that must first be conquered by crossing the Val di Trivena, capable of offering sensations of complete immersion in alpine nature, surrounded by granite rock resting on a frozen body of water.
To reach this isolated and solitary valley, which opens at 2000 m altitude, it is necessary first to cross the Val di Trivena, starting from the Ponte Pianone parking lot to reach the Malga Trivena refuge and then Pian di Redont. The two valleys are united by the towering natural amphitheater of Redont, bounded by a very high rock wall slashed by three magnificent waterfalls. What better point for a refreshing break that fills the eyes and soul and then on! Along a path which gradually enters the Val del Vescovo, progressively becoming steeper, up to the last stretch where it becomes almost flat and passes over easily walkable granite slabs. Beneath them pulses a glacier, from which deep and refreshing sounds come. Finally, you reach the Porte di Danerba, where you can admire the Austrian fort and nearby the remains of a cannon.
