An easy, family-friendly itinerary that leads from Malga Ritorto, an excellent refreshment stop, to the picturesque Lake Ritorto, with a splendid view of the Brenta Dolomites.
The Canton di Ritorto area is truly enchanting, especially thanks to the magnificent view of the Brenta Dolomites.
The path that allows us to explore Val di Canton comfortably is well maintained, signposted and visible. The altitude is that of the edge of the forest, characterized by firs and larches that turn golden in autumn. Expanses of mountain pine, meadows and the stream flowing down from the lake are the characterizing elements of this rustic environment, particularly suitable for family outings and moments of peace and relaxation.
All that remains of Malga Pozza dei Garzoni are the ruins, as is often the case with many buildings that were once in use and have now been abandoned.
At the beginning or end of the itinerary, it is possible to stop at the Malga Ritorto restaurant, where you can taste the typical dairy products that are also available in the shop.
Lake Ritorto (the starting point) is one of the five lakes that can be visited on the famous "Five Lakes Tour".
Continue your journey on La Via delle Valli, where you can choose to explore any of the 50 proposed valleys. Find out more at: www.campigliodolomiti.it/laviadellevalli.
You will find signs and stamps in the valleys from July 2025.
