A narrow and green valley, all uphill but suitable for families, which can be explored by dividing the excursion into two parts, with a stop at a refuge halfway.
The hike in Val di Trivena, an appendage of the deep and wide Val di Breguzzo, is an ideal experience for families who love mountain hiking that is not too demanding, on simple, well-visible, and easy to follow routes that do not require technical skills or particular physical preparation and endurance. The width of the forest road leading to the refuge of Malga Trivena, as well as the wide path from the refuge up to Pian di Redont, should not deceive you… it is still an uphill walk and therefore some effort is inevitable. Once you reach Pian di Redont, it will be the natural stage opening before your eyes to finally reveal all the charm of this small valley.
