Val Manez offers a circular route that alternates between a wooded area and a section with panoramic views of Val Rendena and the Adamello, Presanella and Brenta mountain ranges.
Despite the modest altitude, this is a pleasant and scenic itinerary. It starts at the secluded Passo Daone, where you are immediately immersed in a typical alpine landscape: Thick fir and beech woods alternate with clearings dotted with traditional alpine huts. After an initial stretch through the woods, you can decide whether to focus on the fascinating panoramic section at the beginning of the excursion, which offers unique views of the Adamello, Presanella and Brenta mountain groups as well as Val Rendena below, or save this scenic section for the return journey.
After a very short initial stretch on asphalt, the route alternates between concrete or dirt mountain roads and narrow but well-marked and visible paths through woods, clearings and meadows and along the panoramic ridge between Passo delle Malghette and Cima Durmont. This hike allows you to enjoy the unspoilt beauty of Val Manéz with its meadows and forests, and take in the breathtaking views. This is an excursion that will leave you breathless, amidst wild nature and dreamlike landscapes!
