The Val Piana is crossed by the Bocenago ridge loop, a circular trekking of medium difficulty, highly panoramic, requiring a fair amount of physical training.
Above the village of Bocenago, a splendid succession of panoramic ridges leads to the secluded Val Piana. A trekking we could call "an adventure behind the doorstep."
It is a very intriguing hiking itinerary that partially crosses the Val Piana. The vertical gain, about 870 m, is concentrated almost entirely in the first part that steadily ascends to “Golgota”. From there, the beautiful ridge route that follows is marked by vast panoramas, opening on both the Brenta Dolomites and the Carè Alto and Adamello Presanella massifs. It's a medium difficulty loop requiring a fair level of fitness. Some short sections demand particular attention to find the path as vegetation sometimes hides parts of the trail.
Attention for car access: it is necessary to obtain a permit from the Bocenago Municipality.
