Scenic panoramic route of moderate difficulty connecting Rifugio Casinei to Rifugio F.F. Tuckett e Quintino Sella, crossing scree slopes and mountain pines, with spectacular views of Crozzon di Brenta.
The hike through the Fridolin Valley is an alternative to the classic ascent from Vallesinella to the Rifugio F.F. Tuckett e Quintino Sella. To access the route, you must travel through Vallesinella using the summer alternative mobility services, by car (paying attention to traffic restrictions), or on foot, which makes the itinerary longer.
From the parking area at the end of the valley, the trail climbs to the Rifugio Casinei, famous for its delicious homemade cakes. The hike then continues along trail no. 318 toward the Rifugio Maria e Alberto ai Brentei, offering wonderful panoramic views of Crozzon di Brenta, until reaching the entrance to the Fridolin Valley.
Here the route branches off toward Sella del Fridolin along scenic trail no. 328 which, winding through mountain pines and impressive dolomitic boulders, leads to the Rifugio F.F. Tuckett e Quintino Sella.
From here, the view stretches between Bocca di Tuckett and Cima Sella, offering unique perspectives over the Brenta Dolomites. The area is well served by welcoming, well-equipped mountain huts providing food and accommodation and, although it is quite popular, it has preserved all of its alpine charm.
