The historic center of Tione preserves interesting tombstones on the walls of the buildings and is characterized by the numerous historical fountains present in each square.
Among the tombstones are those placed on the facade of the Town Hall that recall the passage of the Gattamelata to the money of Venice and the adversary of Milan, (1438); the destruction of the Dazio di Tempesta (1768), the decapitation of the leaders of the revolt (1772) and the Fallen of War. Outside the Bank in Via Filzi is the plaque commemorating the shooting (1809) by French soldiers of 60 people gathered in an armed gang. In Piazza Guido Boni, the arrival of the Frankish Corps (1848) is remembered with a granite engraved on that date. Do not forget the plaque in Via del Foro to remember the War of the Walnuts (1579).
To enrich the historical heritage of Tione, the numerous fountains, where you can discover, through the route "The tour of the Fountains", the traces of a past that tells of the places of aggregation and socialization where women gathered to wash clothes, drew drinking water to bring into homes and watered livestock.
