Rifugio Segantini Val D'Amola

Rifugio Segantini Val D'Amola title=

The alpine refuge at the foot of the queen of the mountains, the Cime Presanella.

Dedicated to the Trentino painter Giovanni Segantini who brought back to his canvases the lights, colours and industriousness of the mountain people, the refuge was inaugurated in 1901 and became the preferred starting point for ascents to His Majesty, the Cima Presanella. Many mountaineers have followed over the years in facing this tough challenge along the different climbing routes, others have dedicated themselves to the less demanding trekking routes that cross the refuge and lead to other evocative places. Mountain enthusiasts know that at Segantini they will always find the typical welcome dedicated to those who decide to dedicate part of their time to Nature, even if only by observing in peace the magnificent panorama of the Brenta Dolomites, which lie in all their majesty in front of the refuge.

STRENGTH:

The view of the Dolomites, the strategic position for climbing the Presanella and the opportunity to taste the dishes of typical Trentino cuisine.
