Sport and Health: Run for Longevity!
LONGEVITY RUN The Longevity Run comes to Madonna di Campiglio with a day dedicated to sport, prevention and wellbeing, promoting healthy lifestyles and raising awareness of the importance of cardiovascular health. Launched in Rome in 2018 by the physicians and researchers of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS, led by Professor Francesco Landi, the initiative conveys a simple yet powerful message: longevity is achieved day by day through regular physical activity, a balanced diet and preventive care.
LONGEVITY LAB The event is part of the broader Longevity Lab project, which will take place from 27 July to 30 August, offering a programme of initiatives focused on health, physical activity and scientific outreach.
Among the activities, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the Longevity Check-ups, developed in collaboration with the Policlinico Gemelli. These personalised health assessments evaluate overall wellbeing and physical fitness by examining key cardiovascular health indicators, respiratory function, sleep quality, muscle mass and performance, as well as dietary habits. At the end of the assessment, participants will receive practical recommendations to help them adopt and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
THE INITIATIVE The initiative is organised with the support of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, under the patronage of the Azienda Provinciale per i Servizi Sanitari di Trento.
