From 26 to 28 June 2026, Madonna di Campiglio will host the first edition of 3tre Orienteering, an unmissable event for orienteering enthusiasts from all over the world. Modelled on the iconic 3Tre ski race in Madonna di Campiglio, this event brings together athletes, nature lovers and the orienteering community for an unforgettable alpine experience in an exceptional setting: the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The event will see the participation of more than 2,000 athletes, mostly from Scandinavia and Northern Europe, ready to challenge each other among forests, meadows and breathtaking landscapes. The orienteers, equipped with a topographic map (and in some cases a compass), will set off at regular one-minute intervals. Their aim will be to complete the course in the shortest possible time, touching all the “lanterns”, the checkpoints scattered along the route and marked on the map, which certify that the race has been run correctly.
