An event celebrating rural life: a cattle show, a traditional lunch and a grass-cutting competition will be the highlights of the day.
PROGRAMME:
10.00am:
- Opening of the Villaggio Mostra Mercato Mondo Contadino (Farmers' Market Village) with stalls selling typical products and crafts.
- Collage - The art of reuse!
- Trekking Urbano in Valle del Chiese.
From 10.00am to 1.00pm: sixth edition of the Valle del Chiese Formai da Mót Festival, featuring mountain cheeses and traditional flavours with tastings organised by the mountain dairies of the Valle del Chiese. “Vote for your favourite Formai da Mót” competition: 7 mountain dairies, 7 different types of cheese. A public jury and a technical jury will reward the artistry and ingenuity of our cheesemakers!
11.00am: Grand final of the Giudicarie haymaking tournament, a competition between older and younger generations that revives the ancient tradition of haymaking and celebrates man’s relationship with the land, which has always been fundamental to rural life.
A fun challenge right down to the very last tuft of grass! A grand final tournament among the participants at the Caderzone Terme Agriculture Festival.
12.00: traditional lunch featuring local produce: polenta carbonera, alpine cheese, cabbage, and a traditional farmhouse dessert, organised by the Roncone Pro Loco (1st round). Tariff: €12.00.

2.00pm: Alpine hut adventure: a family outing. Discover an exciting trail full of surprises, where you can try your hand at traditional activities from life in the alpine huts. Don’t miss out on this unique experience.
4.00pm: a delicious farmer’s afternoon snack.
4.30pm:
- “Mostra Bovina” lottery draw.
- Awards ceremony for the haymaking tournament.
- Bubbles, notes and Formai da Mót: awards ceremony and closing toast with the mountain dairies participating in the 6th edition of the Formai da Mót Festival.
6.00pm: closing of the Mondo Contadino exhibition and market village. Country dancing organised by Take You Dancing ASD.
Throughout the event:
- Painting exhibition "Che tempo fa?" (What's the weather like?)
- Our animal friends: goats, sheep, donkeys, calves
- Pony rides with the Lara Gottardi Farm (Sunday only)
- Vote for your favourite selfie with a calf on facebook.com/mondocontadino. The photo with the most likes will be featured in the 2027 edition of "Mondo Contadino".
