A unique experience to spend a night on a portaledge, the special “tent” used by mountaineers on big walls. Led by the mountain guide Marco, you will learn rope progression techniques and spend the night on the wall, surrounded by breathtaking views.
PROGRAMM:
Day 1
4 p.m.: meet at the Grostè cable car ticket office. Preparation of equipment, ascent by cable car and arrival on foot at the place where the overnight stay will take place. The mountain guide will introduce the descent and ascent on fixed ropes with technical equipment. This is followed by dinner in a typical alpine hut before returning to the portaledges and preparing for the overnight stay.
Day 2
The first rays of sunlight on the rock face will gently wake you up, allowing you to admire the breathtaking panorama once again. After stowing your equipment and portaledge, you will ascend and a short trek back to the cable car. Return to the valley and final goodbyes
