An event to mark the 500th anniversary of the passage of Georg von Frundsberg, commander of the Landsknechts, through the Valle del Chiese.
PROGRAMME:
10.00am – Church of the Annunciation: Holy Mass in period costume at the church in Lodrone.
Followed by: a talk on the history of the church by architect Roberto Codroico.
11.30am – Lodrone (historic centre): historical parade by re-enactment groups through the upper streets of the village.
12.30pm – Pra di Berti (Lodrone): closing ceremony at the foot of Santa Barbara Castle with addresses by the authorities, re-enactors and volunteers.
