An event to mark the 500th anniversary of the passage of Georg von Frundsberg, commander of the Landsknechts, through the Valle del Chiese.
PROGRAMME:
10.00am – Church of the Annunciation: a history of the church presented by architect Roberto Codroico.
11.00am – Church of the Annunciation: Holy Mass in period costume at the church in Lodrone.
12.00pm – Lodrone (historic centre): historical parade by re-enactment groups through the upper streets of the village.
12.30pm – Pra di Berti (Lodrone): closing ceremony at the foot of Santa Barbara Castle, with farewells from the authorities, re-enactors and volunteers.
