Walking is not just moving, it is an ancient, intimate gesture, capable of transforming a landscape into a story and a territory into a soul experience. It is in this perspective that the Mystery of the Mountains 2026 dedicates a meeting to the great paths of western Trentino: the San Vili Trail, the Charlemagne Path, and The Way of the Valleys. Three routes, three stories, three different ways of crossing an extraordinary territory. The San Vili Trail retraces the footsteps of the Trentino bishop, intertwining faith, history, and nature in a journey that crosses valleys and towns with the silent depth of sacred places. The Charlemagne Path evokes the legendary passage of the Carolingian emperor through the Alps, along routes that hold traces of a distant era and a civilization that shaped Europe. The Way of the Valleys, more contemporary in thought, connects alpine valleys inviting discovery of the territory with awareness. Those who walk do not seek only physical exercise: they seek connection, discovery, meaning. They seek the landscape that changes at every bend of the path, the encounter with the local community, the authentic flavor of a territory that reveals itself step by step.
