Granoturco di Storo: the experiment for a more sustainable cultivation begins
An innovative project will soon start in the Alpi Ledrensi and Judicaria Biosphere Reserve, in collaboration with the AGRI’90 cooperative, aiming to improve water use and reduce the application of plant protection products in the cultivation of Granoturco di Storo, one of the most traditional and significant crops in the area.
In response to climate change and new regulations demanding more sustainable farming practices, this project aims to test practical solutions for adapting maize cultivation to current environmental challenges.
