Episode 05. The Agola Glacier
Episode of the series: MUSE Open Air - Outdoor science
The end of a long story.
The Vedretta d'Agola is a small glacier in the middle of the Brenta Dolomites. Mauro, researcher at MUSE, Andrea, zoologist of the Adamello Park Brenta and Sara, social media manager of ApT Madonna di Campiglio, tackle the long path that leads them to the Vedretta d'Agola to show us how glaciers are coping with climate change and tell us about the loss of the intangible heritage of which a glacier is made. It is an inaccessible and distant place but plays a central and unique bio-cultural role, bringing with it historical, cultural, aesthetic and scientific values. On this trip we will find out how to effectively communicate the fate of these ice giants.
Subject and voices of Sara Defrancesco, Social Media Manager of Madonna di Campiglio Azienda per il Turismo Spa, Mauro Gobbi, Ecologist and Entomologist of the MUSE - Museo delle Scienze in Trento and Andrea Mustoni, Zoologist of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park.
