Loop route that alternates between an uphill stretch and a downhill section, with unique views of the Trentino Alps all around it.
The route starts in Coradure, which can be easily reached by car or bike. The trail immediately enters a forest of monumental firs, extremely quiet with an intense scent of resin. This route, accessible from May to October, consists of two sections, one uphill and then one downhill. The first forest stretch gradually climbs up to Malga Giuggia, from where a short but steep mule track leads to the high pastures, among meadows and rhododendrons. There, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Adamello, with the Brenta Dolomites in the background and the Gardesane Alps in the opposite direction. On the way back, the landscape remains centre-stage, until the route reaches a clearing with a small hut, the perfect spot for a break before the final descent to the starting point.
There are no bivouacs along the route, you must go back to the valley to find a place to spend the night. Right nearby you can visit Lake Roncone, which has earned a Blue Flag for environmental quality and local commitment to sustainable practices.
