Third stage of the Dolomiti di Brenta Trek that from Rifugio Graffer leads to Rifugio Tuckett in the heart of the Dolomiti di Brenta.
Rifugio Tuckett (m. 2271) stands on a small ledge at the foot of Castelletto Inferiore. It was built in 1906 by the climbers of the Berlin Section of the D.u.Oe.A.V, who dedicated it to the British alpinist Francis Fox Tuckett. In the background is the Lower Brenta Glacier (improperly also called Tuckett Glacier) and the Bocca di Tuckett, dominated by the severe Cima Brenta. The view from the hut freely extends westward towards the white expanses of the Adamello and the elegant pyramid of the Presanella.
